R&D and Design

Thermacore Europe's engineering design abilities are second to none. As a percentage, our engineering staff account for 25% not including production engineering and technical sales. Drawing on over 30 years of prior projects, we feel that Thermacore Europe is best placed to provide a well engineered thermal solution, whatever the complexity or market sector.

The design team is divided into three sections, each staffed with motivated and focused personnel:

Led by highly experienced chartered engineers, our R&D/Design department supports our customers in both a thermal development and all associated mechanical components. In offering a full suite of design and development expertise, Thermacore Europe can project manage and deliver a fully finished assembly, rather than just the thermal component. In entrusting us with a full thermal module, Thermacore Europe have found that this approach has reduced project management overheads with our customers.   
 
Theoretical Modelling services

Thermacore can import your CAD drawings and input your parameters to run the thermal or mechanical analysis you need in the shortest amount of time. From thermal analysis to mechanical design and from CAD modeling to CFD analysis, Thermacore’s design team is ready to provide the thermal solutions to fit your packaging requirements of component, board and system levels.


Thermacore utilizes a combination of leading-edge computational fluid/thermal dynamics (CFD), finite element analysis (FEA), mathematical computation tools, and Proprietary, internally developed heat pipe and loop heat pipe algorithms to accurately and rapidly solve your thermal and mechanical problems:
